Steven Ernest Byrd

Steven Ernest Byrd, 71, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Burial will be in Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Steven was born on July 9, 1954 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest Radford and Marie Agnes Hicks Byrd. He was a truck driver. Steven had several hobbies he enjoyed painting and playing guitar; riding his bike; and fishing. Steven was also an amazing Etch A Sketch artist. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Chrissy Byrd Clark and a brother Daniel Whisenant. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Tara) Byrd; and sister, Loretta (Bob) Vermillion; and numerous nieces and nephews. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A  Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
