Viola May Welch

Viola May Welch, 77 of Prichard, WV passed away September 19, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born February 28, 1941 in Wayne County, WV; a daughter of Jerry Harmon and Nellie Craft. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Alberta Fay Hazlett; her brother, William Harmon and her brother-in-law, Dwight Vance. Viola leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband, Leonard Elwood Welch; her son, Jerry Edward Welch; her son-in-law, Everett "Jeff" Hazlett; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Hazlett and Shawn Hazlett. Also surviving are her siblings: Mary McSorley (Gary), Linda Vance, James Harmon (Gracie), Jerry Harmon, Jr. (Sissy) and her sister-in-law, Ruth Harmon. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation by Tri-State Cremation Society, Ceredo, WV. There are no services at this time.
