Vivian Rose Cornell

Vivian Rose Cornell, 77, wife of 56 years to  Leonard Cornell passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

She was born on January 23, 1949 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Carl Birch and Francis Agnes Hill Mooney. in addition to her parents she was preceded by her brothers and sister: Michael and Carl Thomas Mooney, Mary Turner, Ida Mooney and Francis Ann Mooney.

She was a retired cashier from Marshall University and a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter and son in law; Charlene "LeeAnn" and Mike McDade and her granddaughter: Olivia McDade. One brother: Nicholas Mooney and sister: Sarah "Sam" Mooney.
