Wanda Jean Porter

Wanda Jean Porter, 89, of Kenova, WV, widow of Rev. Bernie Porter, passed away Sunday June 21, 2026 at her residence.  She was born June 1, 1937, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Mennis and Ruby Marie Hutchinson Marshall.  She was a laminator operator with American National Rubber, Company.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son Timothy Porter, a daughter Connie Porter, granddaughter Sonya Miller, grandson Todd Fulford and three brothers Jerry, Jimmy and David.  Survivors include two daughters Ruth Porter and Elisa Porter; grandchildren Tosha, Joshua, Mirriah, Christy, Misty, Brandon, Cameron, Derick, Nathan, Jamey, Erika and Sierra; sixteen great grandchildren; brother Jody and sisters Carolyn, Sandy and Becky.  Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Friday June 26, 2026 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Frank Donnelly.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
