Wanda Lee Stallard

Wanda Lee Stallard, 92, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2026 at Woodland Oaks in Ashland, KY.  Born on May 4, 1934, in Prichard, WV, Wanda was the daughter of the late Wallace Ferman and Fern Murphy.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00PM Friday, August 28 at Buffalo Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Queen officiating. Interment will follow in Cyrus Cemetery, Prichard, WV.  Wanda graduated from Buffalo High School in Wayne County in 1952. She worked as an executive secretary in the manufacturing industry for numerous years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years O.B. Stallard, step-father John Murphy, brother Charles Clinton Ferman, sister-in-law Suanne Ferman, nephew Jimmy Ferman and niece Jennifer Viohl.  Wanda is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jack (Mary) Ferman, sister-in-law Becky Ferman, nephew Mark (Diana) Ferman, nephew-in-law Bob (Elizabeth) Viohl and nieces Terri (Mark) Booth, Beth (Verland) Perry, Kristi Bostic and Kellie (Tug) Harris.  She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. Wanda will be remembered for her kindness and as the “fun” aunt who always had time for her nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodland Oaks – 1820 Oakview Road Ashland, Ky 41101 or Community Hospice- 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101.  The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Woodland Oaks and Community Hospice for their care and love extended to Wanda over her last years.  Friends may call from noon until 1pm Friday at Buffalo Valley Baptist Church.
