David Clay

William "David" Clay, 75, of Huntington, WV, passed away peacefully in his home on June 29, 2025 with his wonderful wife & care giver, Vollena Maynard Clay by his side. David was born March 6, 1950 in Huntington to the late Woodrow & Juanita Clay. David was a hard working man he rarely took a day off to rest but when he did he loved being a thoughtful & kind husband. He loved spending time with his granddaughters, Morgan & Kitcat. David was a supervisor for J&M Enterprise of Ironton, Ohio. David leaves not only his wife and granddaughters behind but also his loving family. Sister, Karen Clay of Huntington W.Va.; step-daughter, Deanna Williamson of Huntington W.Va.; nephew, Nicholas Clay (Alli) and (new baby niece, Natalie) of South Point, Ohio. David will be missed here on earth but knowing he is reunited with his younger brother, Rick & parents gives his family great comfort. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Sammy Marcum on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Burial will follow in Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Thursday at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
