William Dale Janes

William Dale Janes, 77 of Kenova, WV passed away on December 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1939 in Wichita, KS; a son of the late John Hugh Janes and Lera Anna Mona Roach. William was a truck driver for Ashland Oil. He was a U.S. Veteran of Marine Reserves and a member of the Marine Corps League. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife, Janet Maxine (Eastham) Janes; their children: Thomas Floyd Maynard (Philip Petrie), Timothy Scott Maynard (Joyce) and Allen Dale Janes (Laurie). Also surviving are his two grandchildren: David Ryan Janes-Maynard (Crystal) and Andrea Louise Janes-Maynard; two great-grandchildren: Kristen and Jenny Janes-Maynard; his siblings, John Michael Janes (Cathy) and Karlene Hunt (Don); and other relatives and friends. A Memorial service for William will be conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Wayne officiating.
