William Ronald Walker

William Ronald Walker, 86, of Huntington, passed away Thursday May 22, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Point, Ohio.  He was born September 6, 1938 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Edgar Sheily and Violet Marie Phillips Walker.  He retired after 22 years of service with the US Army.  Having served during the Vietnam War.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Emma Sue Walker; brother Clyde "Buck" Walker and sister Phyllis Jackman.  Survivors include his son James Gregory Walker of Huntington; daughters Julia Borders (Bobby) of Chesapeake, Ohio and Virginia "Ginny" Walker-Cole (Edward Klus) of Union, KY; eleven grandchildren Carolyn Fornash, Nancy Fridley, Jessica Depiest, Bobby Borders, William Borders, Anthony Walker, Andrew Walker, Alexander Cole, Ashlea Cole, Gregory Walker and Anthony "A.J." Walker; 22 great grandchildren and a few nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. Condolences may be made at www.regerfh.com.
