Covid-19 Guidelines and Cleaning Procedures

 

Federal, State, and Local Guidelines

  • A mask mandate is no longer in effect in the state of West Virginia per the Governor's Orders—we at Reger Funeral Home want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while attending a visitation or funeral service at one of our locations. It is for this reason we ask that those who have not been vaccinated to please continue to wear a mask while in attendance. Those who have fully received the Covid-19 vaccine may refrain from wearing a mask while inside the funeral home.
  • The staff of Reger Funeral Home are required to wear a mask at all times if the employee is not vaccinated. 
  • Reger Funeral Home has a limited number of masks to provide to family members. Please bring your own when attending a visitation, memorial service or funeral service.
  • We no longer have size restrictions on attendance for visitation or funeral services. 
  • We are still asking all those attending a visitation or funeral service to please maintain a social distance of 6 feet for the saftey of all guests. 
  • We are able to conduct funeral arrangements from a safe distance through either Zoom or Facetime, or over the phone arrangement meetings if your family would prefer those methods. 
  • The above methods are available for Preneed arrangements as well. Please call the funeral home to schedule or you may use our new online prearrangement service locatied in the Preplan section of our website.
  • We are able to provide both public or private Live Streaming of funeral, memorial, or graveside (where internet service allows) services.
  • Each live stream and recorded service includes a copy of the service for the family on your choice of a USB Flash Drive or a DVD. 

Reger Funeral Home looks to provide a safe but comfortable enviornment for our families to celebrate the life of their loved one.

How Reger Funeral Home is protecting your family and ours:  

  • We clean the funeral home thoroughly after each in person at-need and preneed arrangement.
  • The offices, visitation rooms, and chapels are cleaned each morning with disinfectant. 
  • We are scheduling services with at least 1 hour in between each service to allow the staff to clean and sanitize the building before the next visitation or funeral begins. 
  • If you have any questions about our cleaning procedures please feel free to call and ask us.
